Hope Park House is an extended Victorian villa set in spacious grounds located in the residential area of Rattray, Blairgowrie. The extension was built in 2015 and provides an additional lounge, dining and seating areas for people.
In 2018, an annexe called 'Jean's Bothy" was built for social events. The grounds are well kept with enclosed gardens, seating, bird feeding areas and a summer house for the residents to enjoy. Hope Park House is registered to provide care for up to 32 older people. There is also an additional registration for a day care service which is inspected separately. At the time of the inspection there were 28 people living in Hope Park House. The home's stated aim is "to provide excellent care to the elderly and
promote independence."
The home is run on a voluntary basis by a registered charity, Hope Park Trust and was left to the people of Blairgowrie in the 1940s. The trust is managed by an Executive Committee comprising of four lay members, the home manager and the deputy manager.
